AnyBurn is yet another virtual disk image burning program so common these days. But, while being a relatively plain and simple bit of software, it has a few tricks up its sleeve that make it a burner worth recommending.
First of all, it's completely free with all functions available right away. This is immediately appealing, since in most advanced programs you have to unlock the actual burning with money. However, the freeware nature comes with a relative lack of advanced functions. The program has all the basic functions and options: burning CD/DVD/Bluray images, creating virtual disks from separate elements, ripping audio CD music to supported formats like MP3 or WAV, conversion of image files from one format to the other. Its copying mechanism is pretty solid, recreating the copy sector by sector.
But that's pretty much it. Beyond basic functionality, AnyBurn offers nothing. The developer's credit, nothing was promised more than free image burning, and the burning itself is fast, stable and easy. The program is not heavy on hardware and system, supports both x32 and x64 Windows, and provides its users with a comfortable experience.
That's all one can ask of a program that is completely free. In its field, AnyBurn is probably the best there is. It works great, it costs nothing and it doesn't crash your computer.
